Colonial Figure Skating Club has been an affiliate of NVO and USFSA (United States Figure Skating Association) for over 25 years. It ranks high in national circles; Nancy Kerrigan and Paul Wylie, as well as other nationally known competitors, are among its alumni, and its skaters have moved on to Disney on Ice and Ice Capades.

Colonial's programs emphasize individual instruction to the competition-oriented freestyle, dance, pairs, and synchronized skater. Students choose from a directory of over 60 professional coaches, many of whom are rated with the PSA (Professional Skaters Association).
